Misty
Misty appears in both Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto Advance, in a minor role in both games. She could be seen as an unofficial mascot for Grand Theft Auto III, as she plays a prominent role in the promotion for the game and on the front cover. Kim Gurney voiced Misty in GTA III.
In 2000 Misty works as a prostitute and is an associate of 8-Ball. She agrees to help 8-Ball and Mike find out more information about Vinnie's death by sleeping with some high-rolling clients who may have information. She later works for Yakuza co-leader Asuka Kasen on Staunton Island and meets Mike again, when Asuka sends him to deal with a pimp who had been stalking some of her girls.
In 2001, Misty is an employee of Luigi Goterelli and Mickey Hamfists at Luigi's Sex Club 7 in the Red Light District of Portland Island, Liberty City. Misty is also a "regular girl" for Joey Leone, a mechanic and associate of both Goterelli's and Hamfists'. She lives in an apartment complex in Hepburn Heights, the building being completed some time between 1998 (when the building was in construction, as shown in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories) and 2001.
Her appearances in Grand Theft Auto III were limited to being driven around by Claude (the protagonist) and appearing with Joey Leone. During the two missions from Luigi Goterelli that involve Misty, Luigi tells Claude to "keep [his] eyes on the road and off Misty". This could suggest that her relationship with Joey Leone is more serious than shown in the game, with Luigi Goterelli looking to keep on the right side of Joey Leone and his father, the Don of the Leone family, Salvatore Leone.
In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there is also a bar in San Fierro with the name "Misty's", though it is unknown if it is a reference to this character.
GTA III Mission Appearances
In the mission "Drive Misty for Me" once you pick up Misty get out of the car go up to any random ped and punch any random ped. After a while Misty will start fighting them. Misty will fight anyone chasing or running away from you. It's unknown if this is a glitch or if this was purposely put in the game. However while fighting Misty will shout things like "Leave me alone! Hey!" Hinting Kim Gurney (the voice of Misty) had to record the voice for those comments.
GTA Advance Mission Appearances
In the mission "Drive Misty for Me" once you pick up Misty get out of the car, she'll follow you where ever you go. Walk up to any random ped and punch them. After a while Misty will start fighting them. Misty will fight anyone chasing or running away from you. It's unknown if this is a glitch or if this was purposely put in the game. However while fighting Misty will shout things like "Leave me alone! Hey!" Hinting Kim Gurney (the voice of Misty) had to record her voice for those comments. Also if Misty gets stuck behind an object she'll shout "Here, over here!" You can also have Misty fight people in the mission "Luigi's Girls."
