Derek
Derek is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Derek is an employee at a gas station in Dillimore, where he serves people at the till. He is seen in the mission Tanker Commander, where he reluctantly gives chase (with another employee) to Carl Johnson and Catalina who had stolen a tanker full of petrol. He is killed in the pursuit, although there is no guaranteed way that he dies. The player can chose to kill him by shooting him, or if the player drives the tanker to Mr. Whittaker's RS Haul depot, the car giving chase crashes into the petrol station next to RS Haul and explodes.
