Ambrosia is a city in Ambrosia County, Leonida, appearing in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Description

Ambrosia sits on the southwestern bank of Lake Leonida, in central Leonida. It's defined by a strong industrial presence, with its largest employer being the Allied Crystal sugar refinery; the local Final Chapter MC biker gang also wields considerable influence in the area.

The city is holding a local mayoral election, with candidate Erin Henshaw seemingly leading in popularity - a campaign backed by Allied Crystal, whose logo appears on political yard signs alongside the slogan "the sweet lifeblood of Ambrosia".

Ambrosia is based on Clewiston, Florida, a major sugar-growing hub near Lake Okeechobee. "Ambrosia" is the food of the gods, often used to describe something wonderfully sweet.
