Vice City is a fictional city located in the State of Leonida in Grand Theft Auto VI. It's the county seat of Vice-Dale County, and by far the biggest city in Leonida.
Vice City is based on Miami - but in GTA VI it is as a modern, present-day city, rather than the 1980s version seen in GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories.
Geography
Vice City sits on the shore of a bay in southeastern Leonida. A string of natural and artificial barrier islands separate the mainland city from the neighbouring town of Vice Beach, which is considered part of the wider Vice City metro area.
Districts
Rockstar has revealed a handful of mainland neighbourhoods so far, including:
- Belville
- Crosstown
- Downtown Vice City
- Ekanfinaka
- La Perle
- Little Cuba
- Peacock Bay
- Rockridge
- Southside
- Stockyard
- Tequesta
- Tisha-Wocka
Little Cuba and La Perle are both home to large immigrant communities (Cuban and Haitian respectively), continuing a theme from the city's older renditions.
Landmarks
- Vice City International Airport
- PortViceCity, the city's seaport, nicknamed the "cruise ship capital of the world"
- Fleeca Field, in Rockridge - home ground of the Vice City Mambas
- Sahara Arena, Downtown - home ground of the Vice City Narcos
Sports Teams
Vice City is home to at least three professional sports teams:
- Vice City Mambas - American football
- Vice City Manatees - American football
- Vice City Narcos - basketball
