Port Gellhorn is a city in Kelly County, Leonida, appearing in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Description

Port Gellhorn is a coastal city on the western side of Leonida, mixing commercial and industrial infrastructure with dense forest, open fields and rolling hills. Rockstar describes it as "Leonida's forgotten coast" - a once-popular vacation spot of cheap motels and shut-down attractions now fuelled by "malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks".

The city first appeared in leaked development footage back in September 2022, then officially in both GTA VI trailers.

Port Gellhorn is primarily based on Panama City, Florida and its neighbouring Bay County municipalities, with its seaport resembling Tampa's Port Tampa Bay. The name likely nods to Martha Gellhorn, an American journalist who covered the U.S. invasion of Panama in 1989.
