The Wolfsbane is a cruiser motorcycle produced by Western Motorcycle Company in The Lost and Damned episodic pack for Grand Theft Auto IV, and also in GTA IV in an unfinished form.
Description
Design
Representing the Harley-Davidson Sportster, particularly the 1200 Custom, the Wolfsbane is fashioned as a classic cruiser motorcycle with old-fashioned elements such as wire-spoke wheels, flat track handlebars, and conservative metalwork. The bike is available in any one of two two-tone gas tank designs, both of which also determine the design of the exhaust pipes.
While officially available in The Lost and Damned, early game assets of the Wolfsbane can be found in game data of GTA IV, and can be modified in the PC version to be made available in game. The bike features various cosmetics differences, including a T-shaped handlebar design (as opposed to the final design's Y-profile), the presence of a rear license plate, copper "Wolfsbane" badges on both sides of the battery housing, and no Western Motorcycle Company badging.
The motorbike is a gang bike favored by the Angels Of Death.

Performance
In terms of raw power, the Wolfsbane is generally an average bike, possessing average acceleration an decent top speed of around 130 kph/80 mph. However, the bike's handling does not fare as well due to the bike's poor braking response, below average steering response (requiring the player release the bike's throttle when cornering in higher speeds), and a penchant for the bike to slide in turns that makes it less controllable.
Trivia
- The Wolfsbane plays the radio station Liberty City Hardcore by default when entered.
Locations
- Can be found at night on the Hickey Bridge between Alderney and Algonquin while riding a Double T Custom.
- Wolfsbanes appear alongside Nightblades during Malc's's first random character encounter as vehicles left over by a targeted group of cheating bikers. Any of the bikes can be obtained once the player succeeds in killing the targets and completing the mission.
- During one of Angus' Bike Thefts, Angus Martin will occasionally ask Johnny to steal a Wolfsbane. Note that the mission briefing will refer to it as a "Wolfbane".
