Weapons in GTA San Andreas
This page needs to be cleaned up to meet the standards of Grand Theft Wiki. intro section needs rewriting |
The weapon selection in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one of the most important aspects of the game. Some of the weapons have returned from Vice City while some of them are brand new and exclusive to [GTA: San Andreas]]. There are two new and very useful features in the game; smart aiming being the first. The game will detect whether the weapon should auto target an AI near the player or revert to manual-aim if there is no AI nearby. This feature is especially useful when there is a need of shooting a target through the window of a car with any weapon and manual aim is required. If a player requires to use manual-aim in a crowded area it is as simple as moving the right analog stick while in auto-aim. You cannot use smart aim for: melee weapons, the country rifle, the sniper rifle, projectiles or any of the heavy weapons. The second new feature is the ability to duel-wield several weapons after reaching a certain skill level for them. One more new feature in the game is the ability for the player to acquire a silenced pistol, which is great for stealth and will not attract as much police or pedestrian attention.
