Lester Crest is a character appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. He is a known associate of Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton. He is a black-hat computer hacker and assists the protagonists in planning their heists. Lester is is seen either walking with a cane or in a wheelchair, due to a wasting disease.
Character background
2004
Lester was part of the original crew made up of Michael Townley, Trevor Phillips, Brad Snider, Moses and other unnamed associates. After the North Yankton incident, Michael did not give Lester's name to any athority and Lester later moved to Los Santos.
Grand Theft Auto V
Lester and Michael start up their crew again after Lester finds Michael is living in Los Santos via the news report of the jewlery store robbery. Lester is the brains of the following hiests throughout the game.
Lester also invests heavily in the BAWSAQ and Liberty City National stock markets. He sends Franklin on missions to assassinate key people in specific companies in order to raise the price of his investments and lower the price of competing stocks.
