Doberman is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson by his brother, deuteragonist and Grove Street Families leader Sean "Sweet" Johnson from the entrance mark in front of Ammu-Nation in Market, Los Santos, San Andreas.
Mission
Carl receives a phone call from Sweet who tells him to go to Ammu-Nation in Market to get firearms and kill Little Weasel, a former Grove Street Families gang member who betrayed them and has gone incognito with the Ballas. The traitor is hiding in Glen Park. Carl goes to Ammu-Nation, gets armed with weapons and heads over to Glen Park. He takes over Glen Park by surviving three waves of attacks from the Ballas. Carl then finds Little Weasel who claims that C.R.A.S.H. officer Frank Tenpenny set him up. Carl kills him and Glen Park now belongs to Grove Street.
Pre-mission Phone Call
CJ: What's up, Sweet?
Sweet: We got a problem. Some punk ass bitch has been slinging onto his Grove brothers.
CJ: What?
Sweet: Check this out. He's been buying shit over in Glen Park. He know the hood's talking, and he's hiding out with his new Balla friends.
CJ: Well, how we gonna get to him?
Sweet: It's time for you to announce your return, CJ! You fuck up Glen Park, and that punk bitch-ass nigga's gonna lose nerve, and make a break for it.
CJ: Okay, I'm a come pick you up.
Sweet: Hell no! This is your gig, CJ. You need some stripes. Get over to Ammu-Nation, and get a heater.
Script
(Carl goes to Ammu-Nation, then takes over the Glen Park hood and the traitor shows up.)
Little Weasel: Tenpenny set me up!
Trivia
- Originally, the mission was called All-Terrain Takedown, and the beta was a deleted mission for C.R.A.S.H. where Carl has to stop drug dealer Poncho from being arrested by investigating officer Carver.
- After this mission, crack dealers will become common around Los Santos, even appearing around Ganton, hinting the events in The Green Sabre. However, even after the player completes End of the Line and completely takes over all gang areas in the city, crack dealers will still spawn, indicating that they are either meant to spawn along with gang areas as part of in-game AI programming, or had either become so abundant between the events of Badlands and Home Coming that it was almost impossible to kill each and every one of them.
- According to the text in Los Sepulcros, Grove Street Families defaulter Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris was meant to be in this mission.
Reward
The reward for this mission is an increase in respect. The mission Los Sepulcros is unlocked. The player is also able to take over enemy gang territories, as well as enter Ammu-Nation to buy weapons from there.
