During a conversation between Niko and Mikhail, Andrei is standing close by. Mikhail, having a hot temper, turns and shoots Andrei in the head for bringing the cousins Bellic into his home, and disturbing his wife.


While Andrei stands quietly in a corner, Mikhail speaks to Niko, asking him, "So, Niko Bellic. Do you think it is okay to kill my employees?" By employees, he means Vlad. Niko quietly replies, "If he is an asshole, then yes." Mikhail Faustin pivots and becomes face-to-face with Andrei for a quick millisecond. He casually shoots Andrei in the head, killing him instantly and says "I agree". Then he looks at Dimitri and says, "What? Asshole looks at me like I am a piece of shit", as an excuse for killing Andrei.
During the mission [[Do You Have Protection?]] Dimitri explains to Niko that Andrei was a good, loyal worker, and sympathizes his death.
