Femi Kuti is, in 2008, the host of the IF99 - International Funk radio station. Femi Kuti (real name Olufela Kuti), voices himself in Grand Theft Auto IV. He is the son of musician and political activist Fela Kuti, and their family is famous throughout Nigeria for their contributions to medicine, poetry, music and politics. He's also the oldest son of Fela Kuti who was hailed as "inventing" Afrobeat in the 1970s. Both of them appear on the soundtrack, Femi's song being the only one made after the 1970s. Femi has been playing since 1989, and shortly after his work in GTA IV he released a new album entitled "Day By Day".
