Jeb Evans is a character in the HD Universe who is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto V.
Character history
Jeb Evans and his unnamed wife lived in Sandy Shores, Blaine County and raised their daughter Jolene, born in 1956, in the town while running an unnamed guest house. As an adult, Jolene looked after her ailing parents and married Jock Cranley, who wanted to become a stuntman in Vinewood. Jolene, however, did not want to move to Los Santos and instead wished to continue looking after her parents and their guest house. While walking on Mount Gordo on March 14, 1978, Jolene fell off the mountain and died, with her ghost writting "Jock" in blood on the mountain between 23:00 and 00:00 each night, suggesting she was murdered. Jock was arrested and released without charge the following day, resulting in Jeb calling for the police to launch a full investigation. No charges were ever brought against Jock for Jolene's death.
