==Character history==
Chip Peterson is an architect, presumably with an extensive and well publicised history within his profession, who designed the [[Federal Bureau of Investigation#HD Universe|FIB]] [[FIB Building|Building]] (and presumably the [[IAA Building]] as well due to its similar design and the common plaza between the two buildings) in Los Santos. He is allowed by the FIB to keep a blueprint of the building's plans. In [[2013]], [[Michael De Santa]], [[Franklin Clinton]] and [[Lester Crest]] begin plotting to break into the building to perform a terrorist attack and retrieve incriminating information about and on orders from corrupt FIB agent [[Steve Haines]]. In preparation for the attack, Franklin is sent to acquire Peterson's blueprints. Franklin locates Peterson at the [[Mile High Club|high rise construction site]] where he mocks the construction workers for being unable to vision. Franklin follows him on to the construction site and steals the blueprints with the player being able to kill or knock out Peterson.

Peterson is the architect who designed the [[FIB Headquarters]] building in [[Downtown Los Santos (GTA V)|Downtown Los Santos]], and the only person outside the FIB leadership who has a copy of the building's plans. He is shown to be considerably cocky, constantly demeaning and insulting construction workers at his site for not being able to properly represent his "architectural vision".

When [[Michael De Santa]], [[Lester Crest]] and [[Franklin Clinton]] plot to break into the Bureau's offices to steal incriminating information for [[Steve Haines]], they need Peterson's copy of the building's blueprints so they can create a break-in plan. Franklin finds Peterson at one of his construction sites downtown and stalks him through it until he is left alone, upon which he steals the plans from him. Franklin can choose to either kill or knock out Chip in order to steal the plans from him.

Character history
